Due to personal circumstances I am relinquishing my role as East Midlands Councillor so hopefully at our NODA AGM cabaret and awards on 9th May at Loughborough Town Hall we will be able to announce the new Councillor for the East Midlands. I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting shows and will continue to do so until 9th May and would like to thank all of those societies who have invited me and apologise to those that I could not get to.
We currently have a vacancy on the committee for a Councillor for the region and a Rep for District 6A north Leicestershire and Rutland and a news editor. If anybody is interested please contact me and I will be more than happy to explain more about the positions.
This years regional NODA day will be on Sunday 9th May 2010 at Loughborough Town Hall, look out for details due to come out soon. We will be having the AGM followed by a hot buffet dinner followed by the cabaret and awards. This years cabaret will be performed by the award winning Shepshed Theatre Club. We will be presenting awards for programme, poster and productions for the region and hope to be welcoming the president, Mrs Margaret Coltman and the Mayor of Charnwood to present the awards.
May I take this opportunity to remind you that show reviews for the regions are now on the East Midlands webpage and appear monthly. Our next magazine will be taking the format of the new regional magazine Theatre Talk and will be coming out in the spring.
Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Please feel free to contact me should you need any more information about NODA and I will do my best to be of assistance
