| Joyce first became involved with amateur theatre in 1956 when she both acted in and produced plays with Ripley Players. In 1968 she joined Ripley Co-operative Operatic Society, which became Ripley & Alfreton Operatic Society and is now Ripley & Alfreton Musical Theatre Company, Performing as a chorus member and playing cameo roles. Joyce has produced pantomimes and choreographed numerous school shows. She has been Treasurer and Ticket Secretary for the Ripley & Alfreton Group since 1969 and has been Front of house Manager since 1999. Joyce has also been involved with the publicity and produced show programmes for the society. | |
