Nanette began her career in the entertainment industry playing in summer seasons from 1962 to 1970 on the Isle of Wight, Lowestoft and Weymouth. She joined Northampton amateur operatic company in 1974 and has been on stage in every show since joining. Favourite roles include "Mrs Walsingham (Half a Sixpence), "Ernestina Money" (Hello Dolly), "Mrs Higgins" & "Mrs Pearce" (My Fair Lady), "Lady Brockhurst" (The Boyfriend) and "Patricia Fodor" (Crazy for You)
In 2005 Nanette successfully auditioned for a leading part in he Channel 4 TV series "Wakey, Wakey Campers".
She has been a committee member and booking manager for N.A.O.C. since 1999. Nanette Joined the NODA committee in 2005 as Midland Area Secretary and then became an Area Representative as well.
In 2006 following the reorganisation of NODA regions - The Best Role of all !
