Peter became involved in Amateur theatre in 1953 when he joined the Nottingham Operatic Society, of which he is a past president and Life Honorary Member.
He was always back stage; becoming Assistant Stage Manager in a few Months and then Stage Manager for over fourty years.
peter is still involved with Nottingham Operatic Society, Erewash Musical Society and Worksop Light Operatic Society.
He was introduced to NODA in 1960 and became Regional Representative for the nottinghamshire area in the late 60's for a short period and then again from 1988 to 2002 and is now the East Midlands Awards Secretary
