I have been a member of Northampton Amateur Operatic Company for 35 years and have served on that committee for about 15 years as publicity officer and now as box office manager.
I am still an active member of the company and have played a number of roles as diverse as "Mrs Higgins" in "My Fair Lady" to "Patricia Foder" in "Crazy for You"!
Prior to joining NAOC I "trod the boards" as the saying goes for around 12 years before getting a proper job! I have been an individual member of NODA for 12 years (Something I can highly recommend) and East Midlands Secretary since 2004. I have also been the district representative for Northampton, South Northants and Milton Keynes for the past 5 years.
