Welcome

As Councillor to the East Midlands Region of NODA I would like to welcome you to our website

Awards

I am now in my second year as your councillor and have thoroughly enjoyed visiting shows in the region and would like to thank all of those societies who have invited me and apologise to those that I could not get to.

This years regional NODA day will be on 10th May at Loughborough Town Hall, look out for details due to come out soon. We are looking to have a master class on the Agatha Christie play The Mousetrap to be presented by David Turner, the West End director and a musical performing class to be presented by West End choreographer and performer Andrew Wright who has just recently choreographer Chess at the Royal Albert hall.

We will be presenting the area awards for programme, poster and productions for the region and hope to be welcoming the president, Mr Bert Lumsden and his wife to present the awards. Also the AGM for the region will take place on this day.

Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Please feel free to contact me should you need any more information about NODA and I will do my best to be of assistance.

NODA President 2008-2009

Your new President for NODA is Bert Lumsden who was previously the Scottish Regional Councillor. It was a wonderful occasion at Peebles, Scotland when he was made President and was enjoyed by over one hundred NODA members. Mike Hinks is now immediate past president and I wish him every success in his new role. Should you wish to invite Bert to any of your productions he can be contacted on bert@nodascotland.co.uk and NODA HQ will be keeping a diary for his visits so you can always contact them to check his availability. Please could you also let me know as I would like to be present if you invite him to your society.
